Terms, Refunds & Cancellation Policy
By purchasing a downloadable guide or booking a virtual dentistry consultation with The Root Cause Dentist, you agree to the following terms.
Downloadable Guides
Our guides are digital products. Because access to the content is provided following purchase, all sales of downloadable guides are final and non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law. If you experience a technical problem receiving or accessing your guide, please contact us at hello@therootcausedentist.com and we will be happy to assist.
Virtual Dentistry Consultations
Payment reserves your consultation time specifically for you. Consultations that have already taken place are non-refundable.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment will incur a late-cancellation fee of 50% of the consultation fee.
Cancellations or rescheduling with more than 24 hours’ notice will not incur a cancellation fee.
Virtual Consultation Disclaimer
Virtual dentistry consultations provide personalised dental information, education and guidance based on the information you provide. Because a virtual consultation does not include a physical examination and may not include diagnostic imaging, there are limitations to what can be assessed or diagnosed remotely.
Where appropriate, you may be advised to see a dentist or other healthcare professional in person for examination, diagnosis, investigations or treatment.
Virtual consultations are not an emergency dental service. If you have significant facial swelling, difficulty breathing or swallowing, uncontrolled bleeding, severe trauma or another urgent medical or dental problem, please seek appropriate emergency care.
Individual Results & Information
Information provided in consultations and downloadable guides is intended to support informed decision-making about your oral health. Individual circumstances vary, and no particular treatment outcome can be guaranteed.
Privacy
Personal information provided when purchasing a guide or booking a consultation will be handled with appropriate care and used for purposes connected with providing the requested service, in accordance with applicable privacy requirements.
